High School History
What I’ll miss most about High School
I will miss my friends and high school teachers immensely. Although sometimes it felt like the school year would never end, it actually flew by because I surrounded myself with amazing people. My favorite memories are writing for the school newspaper, going to football and basketball games with my best friends, playing on the varsity soccer team, and taking fun elective classes with other seniors.
English/Language Arts Class was the best
Science was the absolute worst
I rep our school mascot - #GO-Raiders!
Each week I'll miss hanging out with my Bridgeway friends at Wednesday night church and meeting up with friends in the Columbia mall food court to eat Chickfila!

Time flies but you have managed to take advantage of every opportunity in your elementary, middle, and high school years. You are intelligent, beautiful, and loved by many. You have a heart for God. My beautiful niece and God-daughter. I am sooooo proud of you! I always have been but I know there is so much more runway ahead on the way upward to your God ordained destiny. You’ve already accomplished so much and I love that you have your heart set on changing the world for good. Stay determined, stay vigilant, and stay focused. I already know that you will make it happen! Just be sure to always keep the Lord first in your life. He will direct you and keep you no matter what you have to face. This upcoming fall I plan to attend Elon University in North Carolina on a Communications Fellows four-year scholarship. I received a $500 book award from the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Columbia Alumnae Chapter and $1,920 for the 2020 W. Ruth Conway Scholarship awarded by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Lambda Gamma Zeta Chapter. During these next four years, I plan to have internships and study abroad.
